FAQs

Do you have mats to rent?

We have mats available to rent or purchase in the studio (mats are complimentary at all times for our premium and founding members). You are also always welcome to bring your own mat!

What is the minimum age requirement?

For most classes the minimum age requirement to take class is 16 years old. If younger than 16 years of age, we will require sign off from a parent or guardian. If a class is geared towards a specific age group or target population (i.e. Yoga for Kids, Yoga for Teens, etc.) this will be stated in the class description.

Do I need to sign up in advance for classes?

Pre-registering for class is not required but highly encouraged. It will ensure that you are able to get a spot into class, especially during peak class times.

The class I want to sign up for is full - can I join the waitlist?

Even when a class is full, add yourself to the waitlist. Upon a cancellation by another student, the first name on the waitlist gets automatically added to the class and you will receive an email notification showing you are off the waitlist. You will then become responsible for attending or canceling as per standard class policies.

How early should I arrive before class starts?

Please arrive in the studio 15 minutes before the scheduled class start time so that you can sign in, get acclimated and get settled in your space.

Do you accept cash payments?

We take both cash as well as credit/debit cards. We encourage you to register and pay ahead of your scheduled class to expedite the check in process.

I would like to bring a “buddy” to class. Can we sign up under one account?

There is always an option to sign up an additional participant (child, friend, spouse) during registration. If you register an additional person, we kindly ask that every client still create an individual account to take a class.

Do you have showers?

Yes! All students have access to the showers in our building.

Is free parking available?

Yes! Free parking is available in front of our studio, on the side streets, in the communal lot in the center of Market Street and in the parking decks behind our studio space.

Is there anything else I should know?

Come, be, and practice exactly as you are. If you are new, or just curious, a few additional reminders:

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows free range of movement, and fits close to the body and enhances your experience. Sports bras are a must, shirts are your choice–embrace the heat that you are building and creating however you are most comfortable.

  • We provide filtered water to fill your bottle, and will also have beverages for sale.

  • We encourage everyone to bring a towel, especially to our heated classes/workshops. We will also have a limited selection of towels for sale.

  • Yoga is generally done barefoot, remove your shoes before entering the studio space.

  • We have hair ties if you forget to bring one.

  • Turn off/silence your phone or other device, or leave them outside of the studio (we lock the studio doors at the start of every class to protect all of us and our personal belongings).

  • Let your teacher know of any injuries or conditions that might affect your yoga practice.

  • Our instructors will do their best to be mindful of everyone in the room and adapt and adjust lights, fans, heat, music, etc throughout the class as needed. If you have additional considerations please discuss with your instructor before class or provide feedback as necessary after the class. For your safety and to maintain the experience for everyone in the class, please refrain from making any suggestions or making adjustments yourself during the class.

  • Make space for other students, introduce yourself in your class, and be mindful to move into the lobby for continued community when another class is entering the studio space.
