When Roz is not teaching yoga she is firmly grounded by her family, the animals in her care, and ensuring that the life she leads is in alignment with the top values that she holds: Joy, Trust, Growth, Connection, and Spirit.

TRAINING AND EDUCATION

Roz has taught yoga for more than a decade. Roz learned yoga from her mother. She grew up with yoga philosophy. Roz went on to further her practice and training in asana from YogaFit, Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rae, Kristen Cooper, Sadie Nardini. Roz believes she has learned and continues to learn from every teacher from whom she takes yoga. Roz has earned multiple certifications in a range of modalities including yoga and personal training with additional training and expertise in breathwork.

Get to Know Roz

Roz is inspired by nature. She loves practicing outside and in her own small rustic studio in her barn. She also draws inspiration from other teachers: “Everyone has something special to offer”

She notes that the practice may start in a physical way, but she is inspired as she watches students grow with their practice.

“Guiding a room full of people to breathe and move together, and actually being able to feel the gratitude, love, and joy we all share.”

“There are four qualities that I try to embody in my teaching and encourage in my students: Attuned, Agendaless, Sovereign, and Intentional. Attuned - being in tune with oneself and others, Agendaless - having a neutral agenda & the ability to dance in the moment of where the class needs to go, Sovereign - The existence of choice that we hold for our bodies and our space, Intentional - Clear and desired direction”
